Is your OneStep 2 camera trying to tell you something?
With no futuristic LCD display, the OneStep+ and OneStep 2 cameras rely on using good old fashioned blinking/flashing light patterns to tell you what’s up. The 8 orange LED lights on top of your camera usually just indicate how many shots you have remaining in your film pack, but there are a few other patterns they display from time to time, each with a specific meaning. Here’s a guide to what each pattern means.

1-8 lights, steady illumination  |
You have this many photos remaining. |
Zig-zag pattern  |
You’ve just inserted film and your camera is about to eject the darkslide. Soon your camera will be ready to take your first shot. If you camera is holding this light pattern, try removing and reinserting the film pack. |
Alternating (left 2 to right 2)  |
You’re trying to take a picture, but the film door is still open. Close the door, then try again. |
All lights are blinking (when holding shutter button)  |
You’re fresh out of film! Each pack contains 8 photos, and your film pack has 0 shots remaining. |
