Do you want to know if your Polaroid Flip battery is well charged? Read here what to do!
Let’s dive a little deeper on how to check if and how much your Polaroid Flip battery is charged: for safe transportation, Polaroid Flip battery won’t be fully charged when you received. The first thing to do is charge your camera.
You may easily do this using a USB-C cable (not included with the camera). Simply plug one side of the USB-C cable into the camera and the other side into the charging adapter. Pay attention that you need a 5V/1A minimum. We also recommend using a wall socket and to not charge it via a laptop.
The battery icon on the display will blink while the camera is plugged and charging and it will disappear once the battery is fully charged.
IMPORTANT: That’s a battery icon, not a battery level indicator. It will never show as full, it will always blink half empty (or less, in case of almost empty battery).
In case you want to get a more detailed battery reading, hold down the flash while turning on the camera (while opening the lid). The film counter display will show the battery level as a number between 1 and 9. Once the flash button is released, the display reverts to film count.
1: battery flat
2: 20% charged
3: 30% charged
4: 40% charged
5: 50% charged
6: 60% charged
7: 70% charged
8: 80% charged
9: 90% charged
A full charge (from a flat battery to fully charged) through a wall socket takes about 2 hours and will give you enough power to shoot approximately 15 packs of film, depending on usage.
