If you like to create photos with a nice depth of field, aperture mode is your best friend!
Aperture mode helps you control the depth of field in your photographs. A lower f-stop (e.g., f11) will give your photo a blurry background, while a higher f-stop (e.g., f32) will get more of your composition in focus.
The camera will then decide the exposure time depending on which f-stop you select.
When you select the aperture mode in your Polaroid app for Now+, you can easily choose the f-stop value you prefer (from f11 to f64), based on where are pointing your camera, the light sensor will show you as well if you are too close, too far or at the right distance from your subject.
Below the f-stop number, you’ll find another number which is the shutter speed, and you can adjust that based on what result you’d like to reach.
At the left bottom of this mode tile, you can as well adjust the exposure value and you can disable the flash.

Once ready, you can shoot either using the shutter button on the app or the one on the camera.
Remember: a short exposure time freezes action (e.g., when you are taking pictures of sports), while a long exposure time leaves the shutter open for longer, so it can help capture light trails and blurs (e.g., waterfalls).
